Lukrecija Maljkovic Atanasovska is an experienced free-lance translator and conference interpreter from Macedonian, English, Italian, Croatian and BCS languages. She is accredited interpreter for EU institutions and the UN Tribunal for War Crimes, as well as other international clients and organizations. She is a holder of State Security Certificate of “Highly Confidential” and EU certificate of level “Secret” and often interprets during the high state meetings and events. Lukrecija Maljkovic Atanasovska has doctoral degree in political sciences, Master degree in international affairs and diplomacy a bachelor degree in English language and literature and Italian language and literature. She specialized consecutive and simultaneous interpreting at the Professional Linguists in Cambridge, and the School of Public Relations in London. Currently she also teaches at the Department of Conference Interpreting as an assistant professor in the practical part of the curriculum. Lukrecija is the founder and director of the Protocol Academy of Macedonia® and the Protocol Academy of Kosovo®. She is an international consultant in corporate and diplomatic protocol and etiquette, certified by The Protocol School of Washington® and mastered protocol at the State Department Regional Training Center in Frankfurt, the George Schultz National Training Center in Washington and the Foreign Service Professional Studies School in Washington as well as the European Commission in Brussels. Lukrecija is a member of the Protocol & Diplomacy International Protocol Officers Association, seated in Washington, USA. She has been an active participant and speaker on numerous international conferences and training in protocol, including the Harvard International Conference in humanities and Social Sciences and is the author of several academic research works on diplomatic protocol. In 2003 she received the “Benjamin Franklin Award” of the US State Department and was voted one of the ten Most successful women-managers for 2008 by the Agency MARILI.
